On February 4th, 2021, the LaunchBox hosted our very first Pitch Day event, providing an opportunity for our coworking companies to pitch their businesses to a group of our LaunchBox Advisors and Advisory Council members. Despite the virtual format, the event was a huge success. Seven LaunchBox startups, including Decimal Energy, DN Organics, Enigma Networkz, Take Charge, Traduki, Verde Mantis, and Syzy pitched for 6-7 minutes, and received feedback from our panel of 16 Advisors.
“I think it went very well and we heard from a bunch of talented, enthusiastic entrepreneurs,” said Advisor John Gatto, from JGO Services, LLC.
For many advisors, this was the first opportunity hearing directly from our coworking companies. The pitches resulted in 13 individual follow-ups for the startups from Advisors interested in providing leads and support. Ryan Morris, co-founder and CEO of Traduki stated his advisors were connecting him with possible sales and pilot opportunities. Our LaunchBox staff have plans to hold this event 1-2 times per year, and we look forward to the time when we can host it in person!
