About Berks LaunchBox

What We Do

The Berks LaunchBox offers accelerator programs, mentoring, coworking space for startups, a makerspace with equipment for prototyping, and seminars focused on business development.

Vision & Mission

The vision of the Berks LaunchBox is to increase the number of successful entrepreneurs and new businesses in Greater Reading.

The mission of the Berks LaunchBox is assist early-stage entrepreneurs and startup companies with accessing the tools and resources they need to launch and grow in Greater Reading.

The Berks LaunchBox represents a collaboration between Penn State Berks and Penn State Health St. Joseph to engage the community, students, faculty, and medical staff in helping grow the economy and improve the quality of life in the greater Reading area.

Working in the Berks LaunchBox coworking space has brought Shana and me back to Reading to start our business. We love the professional atmosphere, meeting space, free rent, and ability to brainstorm ideas with other entrepreneurs. Berks LaunchBox staff members Patty Leshinskie and Michelle Hnath are like Swiss army knives: Any time we need help, they find a smart solution or a mentor to help us get it done. Assistance from the Berks LaunchBox has been a big boost in moving our company forward.
