Anyone up for a bike ride? Lots of bikes will be delivered by Santa this Christmas. We were happy to help Santa with one of his special deliveries.
With the help of the community at The Lucky Fin Project we were able to 3D print, at the Berks LaunchBox, an attachment for a local community member with Symbrachydactyly.
We were delighted to create smiles with this small act of kindness.
On Christmas, a little girl was overjoyed with her first bike and here is a special note we received from her father:
“THANK YOU Berks LaunchBox from the bottom of my heart for making Julianna Joy’s Christmas a huge success! “Santa himself must’ve built the bike and ‘lucky fin holder’!” I simply cannot thank you enough for your 3D Printing help to adapt this bike for my daughter’s special need.”
