A great group of creative people came to the Berks LaunchBox at the Goggleworks for an introduction to the Makerspace. They learned and dreamed up what they can create with basic CAD design, 3D printing, and Laser cutting. They did hands-on activities with competitive bridge building (out of newspaper and masking tape), along with creative greeting cards with an electronic circuit and watch battery they add to light an LED on the card. There was lots of laughter and cheer as we tested each bridge’s ability to hold weight.

Class members will have continued access to the Makerspace with computers, 3D printers and help into the future for a low membership rate of $40 per semester or $99 per year.
