Opportunities

Workshops & Seminars

The Berks LaunchBox hosts free seminars and workshops on topics of interest to entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs.  The sessions are an important part of our strategy to help grow and expand the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the community. Past topics have included legal issues, social entrepreneurship, improving your social media presence, creating a pitch and more. Some of these events include networking time. Please plan to attend one of our upcoming sessions! Check back frequently for new offerings.

Pitch Competitions

The Berks LaunchBox offers pitch competitions 1-2 times per year, judged by our advisory council and advisors. You can perfect your 6-minute pitch through a free class offered 2 months before the competition with free one-on-one coaching to help you practice and improve your pitch. Six businesses are chosen to compete in the pitch competition for experience and often prize money. This helps entrepreneurs get the experience to move on to higher level pitch competitions or obtain advisors, partners, board members, and for some, prepare to start looking for investors.
