Wooden Laser Cut Scenes
Have you ever wondered how makers and Etsy sellers create intricate designs on wood? We can share their secrets and teach you how to leverage technology to create these three layer works of art! Choose images to decorate yours!
Join us for an introduction to laser cutting where you will learn how to customize an existing images in design software along with the step-by-step process to prepare the file for cutting! In this hands-on session, we will guide you through the creation of a laser cut wooden scene from image(s) you choose, and then send it to our laser cutter for your first prototype. Children are welcome with their adult and must be supervised at all times in the makerspace.
Those who can come at 5pm, we will get you started early and you will leave early. Those that can only make it at 6pm, we will provide instruction again and you will be there until 8pm to give time to cut each person’s project out.
