Sarah Payne is the Impact Consulting Manager at ASSETS. Through her experience working with nonprofits and for-profit businesses to create change in both local and global contexts, she furthers her passion for deploying collaborative strategies to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. In her work, she focuses on developing and operationalizing strategies that equip companies to improve their social and environmental impact in order to enhance their competitive advantage and build a better world. Prior to joining the ASSETS team, Sarah completed a year of national service through AmeriCorps VISTA and worked internationally on various economic development initiatives. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in World History from Messiah College and an MBA in Economic Development from Eastern University.

Architect and Universal Accessibility expert with a master degree in Architectural Design, social entrepreneur. I have organized, promoted and participated in multiple actions to make accessible tourism a reality in DR, with the organization of four editions of the accessible Tourism Congress, with national and international exponents; the realization of the Accessible Tourism Guide of the Dominican Republic under the auspices of USAID; and the Creation of the Dominican Network of Accessible Tourism.

Jennie Groff is CEO and part-owner of Stroopies, Inc. Stroopies is a social enterprise and B Corp based in Lancaster, PA. Stroopies was founded to provide meaningful employment to resettled refugee women whose new home is Lancaster, PA, while making delicious cinnamon waffle Stroopwafels to sell in Lancaster and all over the US! Jennie lives in Lancaster City with her husband and 4 children close to the Lancaster Sweet Shoppe, their family’s shoppe, where they feature the home base of the Stroopie operation, their family’s homemade chocolates, and delicious Pine View Dairy Ice Cream. Her passion in life is to do all that she does as worship to God, and to love her neighbors well. Social Enterprise is close to her heart and she loves to see how business with social missions woven into the DNA can work to help the world be a kinder place!
