Do children know what it means to be an entrepreneur? Ryan Morris, recent Penn State Berks graduate and founder of a startup, Traduki met with GoggleWorks Center for the Arts summer camp kids at the Berks LaunchBox to find out!

The campers got a better understanding of business terminology that they heard mentioned but didn’t fully grasp the meaning of.  The kids brainstormed ideas that could be possible future startups and did fun skits to learn what it would feel like to have a need for translation help, which is what Ryan’s software product addresses. They gained understanding of how Ryan’s solution is helping solve a problem and helping make the world a better place…social entrepreneurship!

Today’s graduating class is tackling issues they see in society by coming up with solutions to make the world a better place. Ryan founded his startup business Traduki Technologies, LLC (link) while still a Penn State Berks student. Traduki is a language interpretation mobile app service that connects clients with certified, freelance interpreters. Traduki offers real time, audio interpretation, video remote interpretation, and text translation in over 700 languages, 24/7. By leveraging freelance translators, Traduki is able to decrease the cost of translation and thus reduce language barriers! Ryan is utilizing free co-working office space, support and mentoring from the Berks LaunchBox to help get his startup off the ground.
