Eight STEM educators from the Exeter School District attended a professional development presentation at the Berks LaunchBox on June 12, 2019 run by Patty Leshinskie, facility coordinator. They had a brief introduction to LaunchBox and tour of the facility including the Goggleworks Center for the Arts.  The educators were presented the idea of entrepreneurship and importance of capturing the entrepreneurial spirit by promoting out of the box thinking and a growth mindset to their students with stimulating activities and discussion.

Penn State Social Entrepreneurship specialist, Lisa Weaver, shared her work in the community and recent Penn State Grad and LaunchBox coworker, Ryan Morris, talked about the resources he used at Penn State Berks and the Berks LaunchBox for his business, Traduki Technologies, Inc.

The teachers were very interested in how their students could utilize the LaunchBox space with eight 3D printers, laser cutter, and laptops with CAD Software.
